ATBDS offer folk dance classes to people of all ages who are willing to give it a go! Membership is $10/year
Classes are held in the Prospect Town Hall, SA, every 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesday at 7:30pm. $12 each, or $8 for members.

Come to our fourth Mitcham Folk Dance for 2025 Saturday 4th October 7pm till 10pm at Mitcham Village Institute, 103 Princes Road, Mitcham. Music by Adelaide Empire Band. All dances called and walked through. Flat shoes recommended and casual attire. $20 per person.
It's nearly the end of 2023 and our last dance for this year is on Tuesday 12th December 7.30pm at Prospect Town Hall. Please bring a plate of supper to share. Finger foods only and no chips or dips please. Come along and enjoy the evening. All dances called and walked through by our callers.
Come dance this Saturday night 14th October at the Mitcham Folk Dance 7pm - 10pm to live music with Pining for the Fiords. All dances called and walked through. There is a change of venue due to the referendum. It is in Tyler Hall which is behind the Mitcham Village Cultural Hall. Entry via Smith Dorrien St off Hill St and park on the courts.
Flat shoes advisable and neat casual dress. Supper provided. Members $15. Non-members $20
Come dance to the music of Adelaide Empire Band for our August Social Dance at St Aidan's Church Hall, cnr Payneham and OG Roads, Marden.
2 - 5pm on Sunday 27th August 2023. All dances are called and walked through. Neat casual dress and flat shoes. Afternoon tea provided. Non-members $20. Members $15.
Please note that the upcoming Mitcham Village Folk Dance for July 2023 has been shifted to Saturday 15th July, 7-10pm. Same venue, same time, different date! See you there for a fun evening of dance.
South Australian version of the Maxina at last night's ATBDS Annual Ball.
After consulting with our members this Tuesday night, 8th March, we are inviting vaccinated dancers to return to dancing at 7.30pm at Prospect Town Hall. This will be reviewed at the end of March.
Sadly we can't resume dancing just yet, but I hope you're all well and fingers crossed we can start up again in February.
