As many of you may already know, Colombia was struck by a devastating earthquake last week, leaving hundreds of people dead, thousands injured or missing, and many families without homes. The destruction has been heartbreaking, with so many people now facing unimaginable loss and urgent needs.
As Colombians living far from home, we feel the pain deeply. Our families, friends and fellow Colombians are going through an incredibly difficult time, and being thousands of kilometres away can leave us feeling helpless, wishing we could do more to support them.
