It’s been a few years and what’s changed? Students are even less active than they were 4 years ago and wellbeing in Australia is at a crisis level…but it doesn’t need to be this way. Excited to be presenting at ACHPER again. It’s time to get students moving and improve student wellbeing, being active through Dance. Also keep an eye out for upcoming P.D. opportunities for teachers 😉

It is great to see so many teachers supporting each other at this very uncertain time. There are a wealth of resources to help you continue to teach your students dance now appearing everywhere. There are also many online tools that are available to teachers but we don’t quite know how to use them to provide effective and efficient online education. Many teachers have access to my ‘TeachDance ‘like a pro’ or ‘Cre8tive Moves’ online teacher resources which is directly linked to the AC. CAN I HELP? There are many ways that you can teach and share these lesson activities and programs with students in a ‘virtual classroom’ environment. At a time when it is increasingly difficult to come together, having quality PD and offering and utilising a dance curriculum online is vital.
I am running a 60-minute session on “how to teach dance classes in a virtual classroom environment”. You can also transfer these skills and apply them to teach any subject area in a ‘virtual classroom’ environment. As a bonus I will include teaching you my ‘Git-Up dance’ in a live stream 😉
