During Term 3 the Receptions have been working on building a scarecrow to enter into the Royal Adelaide Show (Story Book Scarecrow Category). Our Very Hungry Caterpillar took a lot of perseverance, resilience and collaboration. We are so proud of it! If you are heading to the Royal Adelaide Show this year make sure you look out for our scarecrow.

Book Week as always, is a joyful celebration that brings a little bit of magic to Burnside Primary School.

This year’s Book Week assembly was an extra special event.

Thank you to our volunteer parent Emma Leak, who engaged our students in a wonderful presentation of the book ‘Being Indy’ by author Zoe Gaetjens and illustrator Estee Sarsfield.

Thank you to our String Quartet whose performance created such a warm and harmonious atmosphere…
Paris Netting (year 1 teacher), Oliver Lacota (Performing Arts teacher) Suzanna Chen, Ben Lewis, Lesley Lewis (parent and grandparent volunteers).

The Body Percussion undertaken by all of our students was magical to hear and feel.
