With Playgroup SA – We just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

We are exciting to share that our centre is collaborating with Bower Cottages Community Centre and Playgroup SA to introduce Sensory classes at the Monday weekly playgroup at Bower Cottage Community Centre.

Our intention is to work with our community services to share our expertise, educational approaches and child development with families in our local community.

You will have an opportunity to connect with our Centre Director and Assistant Director during the sensory playgroup sessions.

We will also have small give away gifts at the end of each playgroup session.

As part of building strong connections with our families, our newsletter will share updates on children’s learning, centre events, special experiences, and highlights from across the term.

Our Center Director is having a meeting with Mark, Coordinator of Bower Cottages Community Centre and Fe from Playgroup SA about an exciting collaboration and planning.

We had our AESC observer to observe our evacuation drill practice.
Our children and centre team successfully and calmly completed a fire evacuation and assembled at the car park area.
It only took us 3 mins to fully evacuate. Our AECS was so expressed with the time completion of an evacuation.
This is the result of our consistent center emergency response practice with our children, such as lock down, medical emergency and center emergency event practice. Our center supports our children to develop confidence in preparing and managing emergency situations at our center, which is real world skill for their future☺️

It was such a lovely day for our team members, team numbers’ children who are also in Semaphore park community, as well as our team’s family. We had lots of laughters, lots of slide play, lots of delicious food! In between food and slides, we also had so much fun creating handmade play recourses for our children at the centre! Do you like our handmade stone food play resources? 😆

To us it is importance to connect outside of workplace, to appreciate each others, to understand each other and to value each other’s cultural differences. It makes our team stronger and closer. Work can be challenging but our team commits to a culture of positive without gossip and negativity.

We always believe that a well connected team is the foundation of our centre team consistency, which directly contributes to the quality relationships with our children and the sense of security of our children and families at our centre.

At work we are a team, outside of workplace we are a family ❤️

We are forever grateful to our life-long community partner Bower Cottages Community Centre for the support they have for our children's learning.
Our community partners 'train' a new group of preschoolers every year to love nature and be sustainable which children bring back to our centre's garden 💗

Sometimes friendship is sharing a book with a friend who we love at the book corner.
