Virginia Primary School Construction Update 🚧🔨
Construction continues to progress on the new Virginia Primary School, where the building’s striking architectural identity is now clearly visible. The installation of long-span Aramax roof sheeting and horizontal external cladding has created a bold, linear aesthetic that emphasizes the school’s low-slung profile against the surrounding farmland.
The dramatic horizontal lines of the cladding work in harmony with the expansive agricultural landscape, grounding the structure within its rural context while establishing a contemporary vernacular. This design approach allows the building to sit comfortably within the open plains rather than competing with them—a thoughtful response to place that will serve the school community for generations to come.

PROJECT THROWBACK
Unley High School
Completed in 2021, this redevelopment fundamentally transformed Unley High School through a coordinated program of new construction and refurbishment. The project supports the transition of Year 7 students and introduces a diverse suite of contemporary learning environments.
A new three-level Learning Centre forms the heart of the campus, delivering 3,850 sqm of flexible learning spaces, including specialist disciplinary areas that support hands-on project work and STEM-focused activities. Strong connections to outdoor learning are reinforced through a new 500 sqm covered canopy, establishing a clear identity and fostering social cohesion around the new Unley Square.
Together, these interventions create dynamic, engaging and adaptable environments, offering a variety of gathering spaces that encourage exploration, student agency, and multiple pathways to learning. We look forward to our ongoing collaboration in 2026 with Unley High School!

Big progress on site at Virginia Primary School!
The mobile milling machine has arrived on site and is now forming the ARAMAX roof sheeting in real time. Roll-forming on site means long, continuous sheets with a precision profile - perfectly suited to the dramatic spans and cantilevered edges of this roof. Watching the roof line emerge really brings the scale of the structure to life.
