‘Celebrate every win…no matter how small’

We are really happy that City of Salisbury, SA, Australia could help us get our street sign changed to Little Para. 😍

What a fun morning we had today! We were lucky enough to have the Salisbury Country Fire Service come out and teach us some fire safety. We got to see their fire safety equipment and uniform, practise getting down low and go go go, sitting in the fire truck and using the fire hose! So much fun was had 🥳 A big thank you to the crew for coming out 🔥🚒👨‍🚒🧯

This week we had some special visitors from Bianca’s garden… some cocoons that then hatched into beautiful butterflies 🦋🦋 The children loved going from seeing a little green cocoon turn into a beautiful bright orange butterfly. We talked about the colours they could see with the younger children and with the older children we talked about the lifecycle and how they transfer from one thing to another

Our staff recently completed some Safe Sleep Training. Although this is not mandatory training we believe it is a great learning for educators 💤

50 years of Little Para Community Childcare Centre

On Thursday 26th March 2026, Little Para turned 50 years old! What an achievement 🥳
50 years of being apart of the community and caring for children and their families.

On Friday 27th March we had a Centre celebration- a jumping castle, face painting and icecream, hot donuts and slushies! The children had a blast. It was a great day of celebrating the children, educators and families. Thank you to our wonderful vendors Face Paints by Monica , Raso's Castles and Amusements and Norms Soft Serve Hot Donuts and Slushie.

And also a big thank you to Kodish Designs for printing all our children’s t-shirts in time for the day! They’ve been a hit 😃
