The STEM Conference Committee is pleased to invite organisations to exhibit at the 2026 Conference, held at Marden Senior College, South Australia on Friday, 27 November.

The STEM Conference brings educators and industry together, offering teachers direct insight into supporting organisations while giving businesses a platform to share their resources and expertise.

Please note that this year’s exhibition space is more compact than in recent years, so the number of available sites is limited.

Exhibitor packages are now available to order via the MASA Shop:

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 …

MASA would like to extend a huge congratulations to everyone who submitted an entry in the 2026 South Australian Investigating with Mathematics Competition.

We were absolutely delighted to receive over 90 entries featuring thought-provoking, well-researched investigations tackling real-world problems. A special shout-out to our Grade 6 division, which saw the greatest number of submissions in the competition's history!

We acknowledge the invaluable contributions of teachers, parents, and mentors who guided these investigations.

A massive thank you to our dedicated Student Activities Committee, who volunteered a full day to judge the papers. The top entries will now be submitted for consideration in the National Mathematics Talent Quest, an Australia-wide competition showcasing outstanding student research.

Finally, this competition would not be possible without our generous sponsors; Kumon Australia, the SA Department for Education, and Tom and Maria Frossinakis for supporting mathematics education and inspiring young minds.

Mathematical investigations give students a practical way to apply what they learn in the classroom. They highlight how mathematics connects to the real world while building critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, by undertaking investigations of their choosing, students can express their creativity.

If you are planning to enter the SA Investigating with Mathematics Competition, please remember that competition entries are due tomorrow, 12 August.

Competition winners may also have their entries put forward to the National Mathematics Talent Quest.

The Mathematical Association of South Australia (MASA) would like to acknowledge the sponsorship support of Kumon Australia and the SA Department for Education, who each support a division within the competition.
