Over the weekend, our educators took the opportunity to refresh and strengthen their First Aid skills through professional training.

Keeping our knowledge up to date ensures we are always prepared to provide a safe, supportive, and responsive environment for every child in our care.

The children took part in a fun dot painting activity during Reconciliation Week, where they created beautiful pictures using leaves as inspiration.

🦷✨ Special Visit from the Smile Safari at Our Centre! ✨🦷

Today we were excited to welcome the Smile Safari team to our centre for a fun and educational session all about tooth hygiene!

The children had a fantastic time learning how to care for their teeth, including the importance of brushing twice a day, choosing healthy snacks, and keeping regular dental check-ups. The interactive demonstrations made learning both engaging and memorable, and there were plenty of smiles all around 😁

A big thank you to the Smile Safari team for helping our children understand that looking after their teeth can be fun and easy!

At the center, the children had so much fun exploring our Australian animal display 🦘🐨🦎

They loved looking at, touching, and learning about some of Australia’s amazing wildlife, including kangaroos, koalas, emus, and reptiles. Through play-based learning, the children were able to build curiosity, language skills, and early science understanding as they asked questions, made observations, and shared what they already knew.

It was wonderful to see their excitement and imagination come alive during this experience. Learning through play really does make a big difference 🌿

We were lucky to welcome the Road Safety Police to share with us the importance of staying safe on the roads.

The Police woman shared images of road signs commonly found in streets which some of our friends were able to recognize and call out to identify which impressed Meryleen.

The children went on to watch various short clips of the different types of road uses such as pedestrians, people using bikers, scooters, blades or skate boards and drivers. They highlights important safety measures that all users need to take in order to stay safe out in community as we all share the roads.
