The 3YO gelding was a pinhook as weanling, raised at Kambula and sold to his trainer Dabernig Racing at Magic Millions Adelaide Sale in 2024.

Ross Hatton and his team from South Australian based nursery Rathmore Bloodstock Lodge have arrived safely at Riverside Stables for the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale (May 5 and 6) and their draft of 14 quality youngsters will be ready to parade from Friday morning.

The draft has broad appeal featuring youngsters by proven G1 sires, first season young guns and two of the hottest young sires in the land in Home Affairs and Stay Inside, who are running one and two on the Australian First Season Sires List.

Gytrash was euthanised yesterday due to a badly infected pedal bone. What a record he put together, headlined by his famous 2020 Lightning Stakes win over Redzel and Nature Strip 💙🤍

one-two in the G3 SAJC Auraria Stakes (1800m) at Morphettville Racecourse on Saturday as the Robert Hill-Smith’s Bacchus Bloodstock bred and raced Mating Call (white cap) chases down the Harry Perk's bred Freedom Flame (red cap) for Macdonald Gluyas Racing.

Congratulations to the trainers of Mating Call in Dan Clarken and Oopy MacGillivray who will now head to the G1 SAJC Australasian Oaks (2000m) with their daughter of Darley's Brazen Beau.
