We’re excited to welcome our newest group of Shipbuilding Employment Pathways (SEP) apprentices as they begin their journey into South Australia’s shipbuilding industry.

A big thank you to all the families and guests who joined us to celebrate this exciting milestone, and a special thank you to our key speakers from TAFE SA and ASA for helping kick-start the apprentices’ journey.

We’re looking forward to seeing where this next chapter takes you!

Last Friday, we hosted another PEER Info Night at our campus on Port Road.

Thanks to everyone that came along. We loved welcoming future apprentices, trainees, parents, and industry friends to campus to explore the opportunities available in the trades.

What a day at PEER last Friday! 

We were proud to host another incredible day of skills, competition, and industry excellence as talented VETiS and Anzeta competitors put their skills to the test for the WorldSkills Australia Regional Competitions in plumbing and electrical.

A huge thank you to all our competitors, judges, trainers, industry partners, staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the event a success.

Congratulations to everyone who took part - your hard work, dedication and passion for your trades was on full display!

Finalist Announcement!
The Defence Industry Pathways Program South Australia (DIPPSA) has been recognised as a finalist in the 2026 South Australian Training Awards Industry Collaboration Award category.

This recognition reflects the strength of collaboration between Australian Submarine Agency (ASA), PEER, TAFE SA, Department of State Development (DSD) and more than 40 defence industry organisations working together to develop a sustainable talent pipeline for South Australia's defence industry.

We're also thrilled to see one of the program's trainees recognised, with Sean De Robillard named a finalist in the Trainee of the Year category.

Thank you to PEER staff, all project partners, host employers, industry stakeholders and participants who have contributed to the success of the program. Together, we're helping create new pathways into defence careers and building the future workforce for South Australia.

Congratulations to all finalists. We look forward to celebrating with you at the South Australian Training Awards event.
