It’s always a privilege to be invited to speak at an annual conference, and even more so when I get to deliver ‘Harnessing Strengths’ with a purpose-driven leadership team.

Working with the leaders at Centacare this week was exactly that. Their work supporting individuals, families and communities across South Australia is truly impactful, and their vision of communities built on justice, transformed through faith, hope and love really comes to life through their people.

They were such a lovely group. I felt the energy as soon as I walked into the room.

Love getting out and about, and it was wonderful to be in Waikerie this week with a fantastic cohort of public sector leaders.

Day 3 of the Management Essentials Intensive and the energy and honesty in the room has been outstanding.

These are the conversations that matter in leadership. Building high-quality connections, learning how to give feedback that helps people grow, and navigating those tricky conversations that every leader faces. Just as important are the practical strategies that help teams stay connected and build strong foundations for trust.
