A huge congratulations to Shanshan Galbraith and Ariarne Galbraith, both successfully passed their shodan tests in Omagari yesterday! We are all so proud to see their hard work leading up to and during a massive training week. Training was hot and humid with long days. They listened, adapted and performed with focus and intensity. Well done!!! - Happy Sensei

Day 1 of Seiwakai Seminar in Omagari complete! Hot and humid, but certainly one of our happy places. Fujiwara Hanshi took us through foundational movement for us to build on for the next 6 days. Great to see Ian Sensei, Shanshan & Ariarne enjoy their first visit. Bring on Day 2!

Today we celebrate the life of Graham Martin. Graham sensei lived life to the fullest and leaves behind a legacy in so many areas both professionally and personally. For the Adelaide Hoshindo Karate community he played a critical part in our history to where we are today. Many years ago he was a founder member in one of our clubs previous incarnations and was the one who introduced us to his son Roderick Martin and Malwina Martin and the rest is history! Rest in peace Graham.
