Starting Note is a vocal and music theory tuition service based in Rosewater, SA. We are just a short drive from Semaphore, Port Adelaide, Woodville, etc. We aim to equip our students with the tools they require to become confident and skilled at the craft of singing, including; proper vocal technique, vocal anatomy, breathing, projection, posture, stage craft, aural training, sight singing, artic

ulation, diction, posture, rhythm, timing, tone, timbres, improvisation, mic technique, scales, theory, and beyond! Whether you have a budding starlet in your child, have a starring role in an upcoming play, or would simply like to reward yourself with a the gift of singing, we can help you. Our service is diverse, catering for many genres of music, including; rock, pop, classical, jazz, R&B, folk, musical theatre, country, and blues. We also endeavor to cater for all learning styles, designing customised lesson plans to meet the needs of each individual singer. We cater for everyone! Our one on one tuition service enables you to learn about the things that interest you at your own pace with our qualified instructor, Jess- no matter how ambitious, or how advanced you are. It’s never too early or too late to unleash your star potential; it all begins with that starting note! Rates:

Unfortunately it's with a heavy heart that I need to announce that Starting Note Vocal Tuition will remain closed for the foreseeable future and will not reopen this term as anticipated, due to my son's conditions worsening again, as he's being sent home from school and his medication is unstable I need to again concentrate on his health needs first and foremost.

I'm truly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience caused, thanks again for your continued support and understanding, I understand this is frustrating: please understand that as a sole carer at the moment this circumstance is beyond my control.

Please keep up with the warmups and practicing, I'd love to keep in touch still and see / hear what you've all been working on and how each of your vocal journeys have been going across the past year.

Wishing you all the best for the remainder of the year and beyond. If and when circumstances change and I am able to resume teaching again I'll be thrilled to welcome you all back with open arms :)
