We’re proud to celebrate Dr Rebecca Moffat, who recently delivered the keynote, Beyond Behaviour: Understanding Behaviour Through a Trauma-Aware Lens, at Tyndale Christian School.

Rebecca challenged educators to look beyond behaviour management strategies and consider a deeper question: Who are we becoming as teachers? Her emerging work explores how a teacher’s beliefs, relational presence, and reflective practice can have a profound impact on students who have experienced trauma.

The thoughtful conversations that followed reflected a shared desire among educators for practical wisdom that is grounded in compassion, strong relationships, and lived experience.

This keynote marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, with the upcoming launch of the Trauma-Aware Christian Education Network (TACEN) and a new professional learning short course in trauma-aware education through Alphacrucis.

We’re excited to continue equipping educators to create learning environments where every student can flourish.

Called by God is NOT determined by one's biological s*x, race or social status. The Spirt has been poured out on all flesh.
