Our Year 12 PE class recently visited to deliver a fun, interactive and engaging PE lesson for primary students! 🏃‍♀️🏀

As part of their assignment, our students selected an activity to teach, taking on the role of leaders as they planned, instructed and guided the younger students through the lesson before joining in the games themselves.

This activity provided a fantastic opportunity for collaboration, connection and hands-on learning, while allowing our Year 12 students to develop their communication and leadership skills. It was wonderful to see students learning from one another, building relationships and sharing their enthusiasm for sport and teamwork.

It was wonderful to see our current students connecting with past scholars, sharing memories and gaining industry knowledge.

Thank you to our incredible Old Scholars for sharing your stories, reconnecting with our community, and inspiring the next generation to embrace excellence. ✨

A great snapshot of what’s been happening in Design an Technologies this term/semester 🔨🧰

Ms. Sergi’s Year 9 Materials students have been busy building record holders, while Ms. Pavlovich’s Year 9 Advanced students have been exploring 3D modelling to bring their designs to life. Meanwhile, Mr. Blauhoefer-Clogg ‘s Year 11 Advanced students have been creating bespoke metal projects using the CNC plasma cutter in addition to traditional manufacturing methods.

It’s fantastic to see students developing skills, creativity, and confidence through hands-on learning.

Some of our Year 12 students recently stepped into leadership, facilitating engaging workshops for Year 6 students at Holy Family Catholic School as part of their Integrated Learning – Community Leadership course.

Through interactive activities focused on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, students created a fun and collaborative learning experience, with hands-on challenges enjoyed by all.

This opportunity allowed our Year 12s to put their leadership skills into action, demonstrating initiative, confidence, and the positive impact young leaders can have within the wider community. Thank you to for their warm welcome and partnership! ✨
