Sarah McDonald's Art School offers a series of short courses and full day or half day corporate workshops run by successful exhibiting artist and fully qualified art teacher, Sarah McDonald. Under her guidance you will learn the techniques and develop the skills and confidence you need to create your own works of art. Sarah's aim is to provide a stimulating, fun and non-threatening environment to

encourage freedom of expression with no fear of failure. Class sizes are kept small to ensure a high level of teacher interaction and to cater to individual levels of ability and areas of interest.

Just over half way through Term 3 and the students have already produced some stunning work! Exploring the theme of “Inside/Outside”, the interior, looking outward… such a beautiful theme and the students are loving it.

What an incredible Term we have had at The Art School creating EXPRESSIVE LANDSCAPES!! Encouraging the students to push out of their comfort zone a little and work in a more expressive approach, rather than seeming to achieve “realism” has been very well received and the results are fantastic!!! TERM 1 is off to a great start with out focus bring on EXPRESSIVE LANDSCAPES… a great way to loosen up and be expressive is with my “long stick brushes”. It’s fun, it’s unpredictable and a great warm up exercise to get us going. How exciting are these quick 10 min studies !
