Wishing all of our students and families, past and present, the very best of Christmas wishes. It is with a heavy heart that we made the decision to finish classes for the foreseeable future, as we focus on health and family. We thank you for your support and dedication over the years, and hope you continue with your martial arts journey. It has been an absolute pleasure and a wonderful experience.

One of the privileges of teaching is watching each student’s progress in the art. Our recent grading saw 4 new Black Belts, along with several colored belt promotions. Well done to each of you- keep working hard and you can achieve anything!

Further to the last post, our traditional post grading dinner welcomed Frank and Jennifer to the Black Belt family.
Some good food was enjoyed, along with some light hearted banter and ritual. Jen's expression is priceless. :)

A heartfelt Thank You to our valued Instructors who have worked hard at getting students ready for this grade and beyond, in particular Instructors Damian, Jen and Jess. You are immensely appreciated for your contributions.
Also thank you to DGM Rob, Master Wayne, and our Northern family for their support on the day.

Congratulations to our students who all did exceptionally well yesterday. Our gradings are recognition of your hard work and progress, with four students achieving their Black Belts after years of dedication and perseverance in the art as follows:

Alex- Black Belt
Jaxon- Junior Black Belt

Their journey has been one of commitment, and well deserved.
Keep training, and keep learning. The rewards for such aren't just in terms of ranks or belts, but in your own personal growth and resilience.

*Our open grading will be on Saturday 2nd August at 2pm in Frazer Gym, REC. (please arrive from 1:30pm- no earlier please)

Uniforms must be clean, ironed, and long hair tied back/no jewellery as per normal.

Some points to consider;
- Train often, train outside of class, train hard.
- Understand that promotions are a recognition of your readiness for that rank.
- Non grading does not mean you aren't progressing, simply that you are not yet ready for the next rank.
- Trust your Instructors judgement.
