Today we joined thousands of students across Australia to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime 2026! Throughout the Primary School, students enjoyed hearing several of our staff read “Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller,” a story that follows Luna and FC Outback as they faced challenges, overcame nerves, and displayed teamwork on the soccer pitch. Following the storytime, students got to work on an assortment of creative activities and illustrations.

Rijken Cup wraps up for 2026 with a Soccer gold for the girls! Some very impressive plays from both our girls and boys squads in a fantastic day of competition. We finish the week in second place overall, first place for the girls, and sixth place for the boys. Well done to all of our Rijken Cup athletes - you showed great performance, determination, and sportsmanship all week. Let’s go, Cedar!

The penultimate day of Rijken Cup competition ends with our squads getting some solid victories in Volleyball, and the girls making a run into the finals, finishing in third. On to Soccer tomorrow to finish off a huge week! Let’s go, Cedar!

Another day of Rijken Cup wraps up, with the boys and girls Basketball teams going undefeated to make the grand finals, but both unfortunately coming up short. A brilliant effort from all of our basketballers!

Day 2 of Rijken Cup action finishes with both our girls and boys Touch Football squads making the grand finals! The girls cruised to a top-place finish, while the boys took second place in nail-biting extra time.

Our Year 10-12 Touch Football boys squad were crowned champions in the School Sport SA Statewide Year 10-12 Touch Football Finals yesterday! Congratulations on an outstanding performance!

It's time once again for the biggest week of the year in our Interschool Sports calendar - Rijken Cup! Next week, a squad of over forty Senior School athletes will take on other SACSA schools in an epic five-day competition of Netball, Table Tennis, Touch Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer. This week has been packed with SACSA interschool athletics action, with the High School athletes competing on Wednesday, and the Upper Primary athletes competing today at SA Athletics Stadium. Well done to all our athletes who displayed great skill, sportsmanship, and determination!
