Do you read the news? To improve my English, I developed a habit of starting my days with reading the news on my phone. The two news sources that I follow are http://www.abc.net.au/ and https://www.news.com.au/ . Would you like to go on the websites, read a article and summarise in a few sentences of what you read in the comment?

Do you have problems with pronouncing a certain sound in English? The key to improve your pronunciation is to place your tongue in the correct position when you say the word. This is an example of how to pronounce "th" ; you could also search for other videos for any sound which you can't pronounce on youtube

Cambridge Dictionaries Online is a very good source to learn new vocabularies. If you haven't followed the page, I would recommend you to do so. They post several words each day with some simple and clear examples.
They are currently highlighting some useful and colourful football related terms during the world cup. This could be helpful if you're watching the game :).

Tips to buy a good dictionary: use an article which has a few words that you don't understand, bring it with you to a book store, check the definition of the words in the dictionary, if the description makes sense to you and helps you understand the text, it's a good dictionary for you:)
Happy studying and happy 2014 :)

To succeed in IELTS, you need to have a cunning plan and start working on it as early as you can. My advice is that you should focus on learning new vocabulary, grammatical rules, practicing writing in English and improving your pronunciation at least one year before you take the test.
Then you should concentrate on learning new IELTS techniques two months before the test. Current tutorial service is booked out until November 24, Please contact us today to book for your next tutorial. Good luck to all!
