Our Association’s Target 100K Campaign has now received an excess of $40,000 in contributions from members. With the three-year Campaign now just one year in, those members who have generously supported the Campaign have contributed funds now earning our Association $2,000 in interest each year.
With the funds our Association had to hand at the commencement of the Campaign, $30,000, now earning $1,500 in interest each year, the combined interest is now funding some, but not all, of our Association’s fixed annual costs. Included in those fixed annual costs are insurance ($1,200), website hosting and maintenance ($450), the publication of the quarterly ROCA Digest and the monthly Newsletters ($2,600), general administration expenses ($500) and the medallion presented to the annual Award of Merit recipient ($200).
Reaching the Campaign target of building our Association's financial reserves to at least $100,000 will enable all these fixed annual costs to be met, avoiding the need for seeking further support from members in the future.
