Our students proudly represented our school yesterday at the South Australian Catholic Schools Sports Association (SACPSSA) Cross Country Carnival. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Every student gave their absolute best, demonstrating determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the way they challenged themselves and represented our school community with such pride.

A heartfelt thank you to our staff and parent volunteers, whose encouragement and support helped make the day such a success.

Congratulations to all of our cross country competitors you have made our school community incredibly proud! 💙💛

💻 Helping keep our children safe online starts with conversations.

A reminder that OLV will be hosting the ThinkUKnow Parent & Carer Presentation on Tuesday 5 August at 6:30pm in the Veritas.

The session will explore:
• current online trends young people face
• strategies for keeping children safe online
• where to seek support and report concerns

We encourage all parents and carers to attend this valuable session.

What a fantastic first week for our Growing into Reception students at OLV! 💙💛

Our newest little learners have been busy settling into school life, making new friends, exploring their classroom, enjoying hands-on learning experiences, and building confidence every step of the way. From smiling faces to exciting new discoveries, it's been a wonderful start to their journey! 🌈✨

Our Growing into Reception transition program is designed to give children a positive and supportive introduction to school. Through play-based learning, engaging activities, and caring teachers, children develop confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging before starting Reception full-time.

We are so proud of how well our students have embraced their first week, and we can't wait to watch them continue to learn, grow, and shine throughout the year! ⭐
