Heading out in the Upper Spencer Gulf?
A temporary exclusion zone remains in place at the Giant Australian Cuttlefish breeding site between Black Point and Stony Point, including the marine park sanctuary zone.
The 90-day restrictions commenced on 1 July to help protect breeding cuttlefish, their eggs and hatchlings.
Vessel anchoring and in-water recreational activities - including swimming, snorkelling and diving - are restricted within the zone.
Check the latest map and requirements before visiting the area. More information is available on the Environment SA News page via the link in the comments.
