Live sound, theatre, studio production, post production (syncing sound to vision), production management, music business/industry knowledge, small business development etc. Our emphasis is on aiding students to develop a thorough theoretical & practical understanding across a broad range of production disciplines - not just studio. We want our graduates to be as broadly skilled as possible to provide them with the greatest number of opportunities to build a career in the music & entertainment industry. The Music Performance Courses cover;
Live Performance, Songwriting and Composition, Music Technology, Music Theory, Aural, Improvisation, Music business/industry knowledge, and small business development. Our students are exposed to a range of musical styles including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Soul, and Funk. Our emphasis is on getting our students out into the Music Industry and being able to work in a broad range of areas. Electronic Music Production Course will be delivering a Certificate 3 in Electronic Music. Do you want to learn Ableton Live and produce your own music? Forge your own path in the music industry and showcase your sound to the world? This course covers all facets of Electronic Music Production and provides a solid grounding in audio engineering principles and give you the skills in Ableton Live Software, beat creation, synthesizers, sampling, live performance, music industry, mixing & mastering. You’ll gain experience and expertise by studying under the supervision and guidance of industry professionals with access to industry standard equipment and studios. TAFE SA Music and Sound Production is also the only accredited AVID Training Partner in SA delivering the industry recognised Pro Tools Certification courses - 101, 110, 201 & 210M (Music)

We’re over half way through first semester at AC Arts. Term 1 was full of exciting highlights for our Tech Production students!

Huge thanks to lighting legends: Geoff Cobham, Alex Hatchard, Sue Grey-Gardener, Marty Howard, Clinton Camac and Zander Lee who have given us such a fantastic start to the year.

- Geoff and Alex arranged tickets and a behind the scenes look at Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the Queens Theatre!

- Marty, Clinton and Zander took us on a backstage lighting tour at Adelaide Festival Centre

- Sue GG designed the TAFE productions for Term 1 and worked with our students to realise her brilliant designs
