[UPDATE – Sunday 2 February 2020 – increased travel restrictions]
Students and Staff - We continue to align our actions with the Australian Government’s advice as they monitor the situation carefully.
Key points:
1. Flinders staff and students must not travel to mainland China, with immediate effect.
2. People who have been in mainland China in the last 14 days should isolate themselves in their homes until 14 days after they left mainland China. This also applies to those who have had close contact with a confirmed case of Novel Coronavirus.
3. No one can enter Australia if they have been in mainland China in the last 14 days unless they are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents or immediate family, and airline crew. Those who do arrive (or have arrived in the last 14 days) must isolate themselves in their homes.
