This week the Stage 2 Business Innovation class visited to gain a real-world understanding of how an established business operates.

Experiences such as these provide students with valuable opportunities to connect classroom learning with industry practice. During the visit, students explored how Haigh’s structures its operations, engages with customers, and maintains its position as one of Australia’s most recognised chocolate brands.

This week we recognised IDAHOBIT at Muirden Senior College, standing together against discrimination and celebrating inclusion, respect, and belonging for all.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for pancakes this morning and helped create such a welcoming and positive atmosphere for our students and community.

Welcome back everyone! We hope you all had a relaxing and well-deserved break over the holidays.

We kicked off Term 2 with our annual Year 12 Retreat, a fantastic day filled with connection, laughter, reflection, and valuable sessions focused on future pathways, careers, university, and life beyond school.

It was wonderful to see students building stronger connections, supporting one another, and embracing the opportunities ahead as they begin this important term.

This week our College proudly recognised International Women’s Day, celebrating the achievements, strength and contributions of women in our community and around the world.

Each year, the exceptional academic accomplishments of South Australia’s Year 12 students are recognised at the Governor’s Commendations and Merit Ceremony. Hosted by the Governor of South Australia at Government House, this prestigious event has celebrated student excellence since 1989.

To be acknowledged at this level reflects sustained commitment, and a dedication to learning at the highest standard. We are incredibly proud of your hard work and the example you set for our school community.

An outstanding milestone and a well-deserved recognition of excellence.

Current parents/caregivers are invited to attend our Parents and Caregivers Information Night tonight Wednesday 4th February 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

This night allows you to ask questions and gain some insight into assisting your student as they navigate their way through Stage 1 and 2 SACE.

What a fantastic way to kick off the year! Orientation Day earlier this week brought new faces together, strengthened connections, and set a positive tone for the year ahead.

Students took part in activities, met their teachers, and got organised for the start of the new school year. It was also a pleasure to welcome back our old scholars, who generously shared their experiences and advice with our current Year 12 cohort.

We hope everyone enjoyed the week and wish all students a successful and rewarding year ahead.

Welcome back to the 2026 school year! Term 1 starts on Tuesday 27th of January with Year 11 and 12 orientations. We hope everyone enjoys the rest of their break and we look forward to seeing you all next week!
