Congrats to Lori (Year 7) who independently submitted a project to the University of Melbourne's Mathematics and Statistics Research Challenge and won the South Australia Prize for the Intermediate category!
This prize indicates a high quality project in the state and means Lori's project was at the High Commendation level which is the top 7% of all applicants. What a fantastic achievement!

The team won the communication prize which means they were the best at communicating how their work related to things like the Australian Space Agency's civil space strategy, how technology could be used in space, and issues they encountered and how they overcame them! What a brilliant outcome!
