Hi everyone,

please remember we have the promo video being filmed this Saturday from 11am.

classes will run as normal however we would ask if any of the junior students would like to stay after class or come back at 11am and be involved in the video, that would be awesome.

See you all on Saturday.

What a fantastic turnout for our recent Tsutsumi Hozan Ryu Jujutsu Seminar here in Perth! 🥋✨

It was an incredible weekend of technique, tradition, and community. We were honored to have the Hans de Jong Self Defence School host such a high-caliber event, bringing together martial artists from all walks of life.

🌏 A Global Connection
It wasn’t just a local affair! While we had a strong showing from our local Perth dojos, we were thrilled to welcome participants who traveled from interstate and even internationally to join us on the mats.

🤝 Participating Dojos
A huge shoutout to the schools represented in the photo:

Hans de Jong - Self Defence School (Our Hosts)
Kiai JuJitsu Kan
Tsutsumi Hozan Ryu International
Tadashii-Do
Body Mechanics Self Defence School
Self Defence Central Dojo

The energy, respect, and "Budo spirit" shown by everyone—from our youngest juniors to our most senior instructors—made this seminar one for the books. Thank you to everyone who made the journey and put in the hard work!
