Today we’re recognising National Principal Appreciation Day and thanking our Principal, Anthony Garton, and Assistant Principal, Kerry Cornelius, for all they do for our school community.

Leading a school is no small task, and we appreciate the time, commitment and care Anthony and Kerry put into supporting our students, staff and families each day. From celebrating achievements to navigating challenges, their leadership helps keep our school community moving forward.

Mini Vinnies Winter Sleep Out 💙❄️

Our Mini Vinnies students recently took part in a meaningful Winter Sleep Out at Emmaus Catholic School , where they were reminded of the importance of compassion, service and standing in solidarity with those experiencing hardship.

Students were inspired by members of St Vincent de Paul Morphett Vale, who shared their passion for supporting people in need and highlighted the real difference our fundraising efforts make within the local community. We were also privileged to hear from our Year 4 teacher, Alana Matalone, who spoke about her rewarding experiences volunteering with Fred’s Van and the impact of giving back to others.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community throughout Term 2, we sorted and assembled more than 120 care packs filled with winter clothing and hygiene essentials for Vinnies. What an outstanding team effort!

A heartfelt thank you to Meagan Friday and Alana Matalone for supporting our students and helping make this experience so meaningful.

Together, we are learning that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💙

Today we celebrate and thank our incredible OSHC Educators for the care, support and encouragement they provide to our students through Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.

Your kindness, creativity and dedication help create a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn, play and thrive beyond the classroom.

🏉🏀⚽🎉 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! 🎉⚽🏀🏉

Our Whole School PBIS Reward Celebration Day was a colourful celebration of the incredible teamwork our students demonstrated throughout term 2. Dressed proudly in the colours of their favourite sporting teams, our students and staff came together to celebrate the positive behaviours that make Antonio such a welcoming and supportive community.

Throughout the term, students worked together to fill our whole school pom pom collection by showing kindness, encouragement, cooperation and respect. Whether collaborating in the classroom, including others in the yard, or displaying outstanding sportsmanship at school events, our students showed that when we work together, everyone succeeds.

We are so proud of every student for embracing our school values and helping create a positive school culture where everyone matters and matters absolutely.

Well done, Antonio! We can't wait to see what we can achieve together this term. 💙💛💚

🎨✨ A Celebration of Creativity! ✨🎨

Our recent Visual Art Showcase was a wonderful celebration of imagination, creativity and artistic expression, featuring incredible works created by students across our school.

Under the inspiring guidance of our Arts Teacher, Meagan Friday, our students explored a range of artistic techniques and proudly shared their unique talents with our school community. It was fantastic to welcome families and friends to experience the exhibition, which received rave reviews from all who attended.

A huge thank you to Meagan for her passion and dedication in nurturing creativity, and to our students for sharing their beautiful artwork with such confidence and pride. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate the amazing artistic achievements of our learners.

Our Year 6 Faith Leaders joined student leaders from neighbouring Catholic schools across the southern region for a Leadership Formation Day, hosted by Emmaus Catholic School and facilitated by Tahlia from Catholic Education South Australia.

Through prayer, reflection and collaborative activities, students strengthened their understanding of faith-filled leadership, agency, service and social justice while building connections with other young leaders.

💛 We are incredibly proud of the way our Faith Leaders represented Antonio and look forward to seeing them share their learning as they continue to make a positive difference in our school community.

Today we welcomed our mid-year Reception students as they officially began their schooling journey at Antonio! 💙💛

From big smiles and brave waves goodbye to new friendships, curious minds and plenty of exploring, it was a day full of excitement, laughter and new adventures.

We can’t wait to watch these little learners grow, discover and shine as part of our Antonio family. Welcome aboard—we’re so happy you’re here! 🌟

Our Year 5/6 students recently transformed our gymnasium into a bustling marketplace for Enterprise Day, showcasing their incredible creativity, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills.

From exciting games and fun activities to fantastic prizes, every stall was thoughtfully planned and enthusiastically run by our senior students. It was wonderful to see them putting their learning into practice while creating a fun experience for the whole school community.

Even more inspiring was the generosity shown by everyone who supported the day. Together, we raised an incredible $1,600 for Catholic Charities! ❤️ This amazing achievement reflects the compassion and community spirit that our students demonstrate every day.

Congratulations to our Year 5/6 students on a hugely successful event, and thank you to all the families and students who helped make the day such a wonderful success.

💛 Grandparents and Special Friends Community Prayer & Celebration 💛

Despite the wet weather, it was wonderful to welcome so many grandparents and special friends to our school community this week.

Together, we gathered in prayer, giving thanks for the special people in our lives whose love, wisdom and encouragement help shape who we are. Following our celebration, families enjoyed a lovely morning tea and the opportunity to spend quality time together, sharing conversations, laughter and precious moments.

We are truly blessed to have such a caring and supportive community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and for the love, faith and connection you bring to our school family.
