MARK LE MESSURIER is coming to the King's Community Centre, presenting 5 different workshops.

Mark, is a teacher, counsellor, public speaker, and the author of 18 publications. He is the recipient of the prestigious Australia Day Council’s 2022 Senior South Australian of the Year award.

• WHAT AN ADVENTURE •

I'm hardly one to stay still, so adventures are daily here at TTG Come and Play. The Zoo and Botanic Gardens are some of our favourite places to explore!

With so many places to go, our program evolves naturally and the children are active participants in their time with me. Each day i will ask... where would you like to play today? And I am amazed by what my little friends suggest....Small playgrounds, big playgrounds, bunnings, the zoo, the markets or the library! The choices are endless!

I also love asking them.... " Does Sam work?"
" NO" they always reply! From the eyes of a child my days with them are days of leisure. Days free to explore and learn naturally through everything our world has to offer ❤️.

We are still on the look our for another little friend ( over 2 ) to join us, we can't wait to meet some new little people soon!

• THE CENTRAL MARKET •

The vibrant energy of the market takes on a sense of grandeur when seen through the curious eyes of a child.

Turning a routine task like shopping into an exciting educational adventure can greatly benefit young explorers. Reading and decoding signs cleverly enhances children's literacy and numeracy skills. Furthermore, delving into dietary options nurtures their ability to make informed and healthy choices.

Observing my young companion confidently selecting fruits & vegetables and engaging in conversation with the store attendant was a truly gratifying experience today.

Thanks to my young achiever for excelling during her special outing with Sam today! 🌟

After a busy term of connecting with our community, engaging with fellow educators and exploring Adelaide it is time for a break.
