Mock Test Topper… But Real Exam Struggle?

Scoring high in PTE mocks but not in the real test?
Here are 3 quick fixes that can change your result:

1. Use NEW mock tests
Repeating the same tests = memorising, not improving.
Train your skills, not your memory.

2. Practise with distractions
Real exam rooms aren’t silent.
Typing. Coughing. People speaking.
Try practising with background noise (TV/music) to simulate exam conditions.

3. Prepare your introduction
A confident start sets the tone.
You’ll feel calmer, more in control, and ready to perform.

3 small changes → Big difference on exam day

Don’t just practise. Practise smart.

Save this before your next mock test.

Write Essay: Time-Saving Trick

Stuck trying to write the perfect introduction?
Don’t.

Here’s a faster way to start your PTE essay:

Step 1: Paraphrase the question
Rewrite the main idea in your own words.

Step 2: Add your position
That’s your introduction — done.

Now skip ahead.

Step 3: Write the conclusion
Paraphrase your position again.

Boom.
2 paragraphs done.

Now you can focus on what really matters —
your body paragraphs (reasons + examples).

Simple structure to remember:

• Introduction = Paraphrase question + your position
• Conclusion = Paraphrase your position

Save time. Reduce stress. Write smarter.
