🐰🦷 Dr Rabbit Visits Preschool! 🦷🐰

Our preschool children enjoyed a special visit from Dr Rabbit and learned all about dental hygiene and keeping their smiles healthy!

During the visit, the Dental Nurse shared a story with the children and provided fun, hands-on dental learning experiences to help them understand the importance of caring for their teeth. Dr Rabbit then made a special appearance and handed out little tooth packs for both children and adults to take home.

The children had lots of fun learning how to care for their teeth and becoming little smile champions! 😁🪥✨

A special thank you to the Primary Dental staff and the Bite Sized Beginnings program, We’re excited to be part of this initiative, helping children build healthy oral habits and supporting families to access preventive dental care. 💙🦷

✨ Exploring Cause & Effect Through Reflections with Mirrors & Blocks ✨

There’s something magical about adding a mirror to block play. What begins as simple stacking quickly transforms into a hands-on investigation filled with curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

As children build, move, and rearrange blocks, they immediately notice changes in the reflection. A tower suddenly looks twice as tall. A single line of blocks becomes a complete pattern. Every action creates a visible reaction, helping children explore the concept of cause and effect in a meaningful and engaging way.

Mirror play also supports:
🔹 Spatial awareness
🔹 Symmetry and early math skills
🔹 Problem-solving
🔹 Observation and critical thinking
🔹 Language development through discussion and prediction

Sometimes the simplest additions to play create the richest learning experiences. A mirror, a handful of blocks, and a child’s curiosity are all you need to spark exploration and wonder. 🌈🪞
