Rocking Monster by Chris Edser. Chris wanted to try something a little different from the traditional rocking horses. The rocking monster was based on character drawings and is intended as an exhibition piece, but also functions as a rocking horse that children can enjoy. It was made from old reclaimed timber, including old Norfolk Island Pine SA telegraph poles that Ken at SAWA helped source and Oregon Pine from demolished house beams for the rocker. This project took a number of years with breaks during which Chris was not living in Adelaide.
