The babyROO word of the week is flower
GymbaROO operates fun educational programs for babies from 6 weeks through to children aged 6 years.
Enhancing the neurological development & motor skills in children while providing parent education on primitive reflexes, body awareness and behavior. GymbaROO is about putting the natural back into developmental opportunities for young children. Organic, natural development of children is difficult in our society with its safety/litigation concerns and ultra busy lives with reduced opportunities

The BabyROO word of the week is spoon.
You might like to bring in one of your baby's spoons to help with their visualisation this week.

Week 5's animal is Squirrel
You might like to find a book with a squirrel in it, or print a squirrel colouring page for your little one.
One common question from parents new to GymbaROO is "What should we bring to class?"
Not much is needed! You might like to bring a water bottle for yourself and your child. We get pretty active and it's thirsty work!
For the baby classes (pre-walking children), you might like to bring a blanket or mat to use as extra padding on the equipment or during mat time. We do provide individual foam mats for each child during class.
For the older children (walking) you should bring a Treasure Bag item that matches the word of the week. This helps grow their understanding and creates a sense of belonging as we share our treasures with each other.
We also ask that babies and children take their shoes and socks off during class for greater sensory input and to minimise slipping.
We look forward to seeing you there!
