Teamwork makes the dream work… even in the Toddler Room

Our toddlers worked together to create one big construction, sharing ideas, solving problems and helping one another every step of the way.

What may look like “just building” is so much more. Through experiences like these, children are developing communication skills, confidence, creativity, persistence and early problem-solving—all while having so much fun.

We love watching their imaginations come to life and seeing the pride on their faces as they work together to create something amazing.

At our family-owned centre, we believe some of the biggest learning happens through play.

Enjoy a little glimpse into a day in the life of one of our littlest learners…

From morning cuddles and curious little discoveries to sensory play, giggles, meals, rest time and everything in between, every day is filled with opportunities to learn, grow and feel safe, loved and supported.

It’s often the little moments that mean the most—the smiles, the first attempts, the tiny achievements and the connections that help build confidence from the very beginning.

We’re so grateful to be part of these early years and to watch our little ones thrive every single day. 🌿

If you’re looking for a warm, family-owned childcare centre where your child is known, valued and truly cared for, we’d love to welcome you.

Learning through play, one tile at a time!

Our little learners have been busy exploring with magnetic tiles, creating colourful designs and building their own unique structures together.

Activities like this encourage children to develop:
💜Problem-solving skills
🧡Creativity and imagination
💜Fine motor coordination
🧡Spatial awareness
💜Teamwork and communication

Every tower, pattern and creation is an opportunity to learn, discover and grow. We love watching our children explore, experiment and celebrate their own ideas through play.

🖤💛❤NAIDOC Week 2026 ❤️💛🖤

During NAIDOC Week our children worked together to create a large-scale collaborative map inspired by Kaurna symbols and storytelling.

Through conversations, drawing, and shared exploration, the children used symbols to represent themselves, important places, animals such as kangaroos, emus and possums, and features of the natural environment. Together they co-constructed a visual story of their world and the land on which we learn and play.

This experience supported the children to:
✨ explore Aboriginal perspectives and storytelling
✨ develop an understanding of place and connection to Country
✨ recognise that symbols can carry meaning and preserve knowledge
✨ strengthen their sense of belonging and respect for Kaurna culture and history.

We are so proud of the thoughtful ideas, creativity, and collaboration shown by our children throughout this inquiry project.

🧸 Pyjama Day 2026 🧸

What a wonderful day we had at our centre wearing our favourite pyjamas to support The Pyjama Foundation

Our goal was to raise $250, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, educators, and community, we have already raised $348!

These funds will help support children in foster care through learning, life skills, and positive mentoring experiences.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped us spread awareness for such an important cause. We are so proud of what we achieved together!

Donations are still open, and if you would like to contribute, you can donate via the link below

🎓Our Mid-Year Kindergarten Graduates 🎓
Today is a very special day… our kindergarten children are beginning their first day of school! ✨
As we look back on their graduation, we can’t help but feel incredibly proud of each and every one of them. In this video, you’ll hear their beautiful little voices sharing what they want to be when they grow up and what they’ll miss most about childcare — from their friends and educators to the fun, laughter, and everyday moments that made their time here so special.
Watching them walk through our doors in their graduation gowns was emotional enough, but seeing them take this next big step into school reminds us just how much they have grown.
To our amazing graduates: May your school days be filled with confidence, curiosity, kindness, and lots of new adventures. Never stop dreaming big — we can’t wait to see all the incredible things you will become.
Once a part of our childcare family, always a part of our childcare family. We are cheering you on every step of the way! 🫶

🍃 Little hands, big discoveries. 🍃

Today our babies enjoyed exploring a sensory tray filled with colourful rice, using scoops, spoons, containers and their own little hands to investigate, pour, fill and empty.
Sensory play like this is so much more than fun—it encourages curiosity, strengthens fine motor skills, supports hand-eye coordination, introduces early mathematical concepts such as volume and capacity, and provides wonderful opportunities for language development as educators model new words and engage in meaningful conversations.
Watching the children concentrate, experiment and delight in their discoveries reminds us that some of the best learning happens through play.

Every scoop, pour and sprinkle is building confident, capable learners.

💙 We’re wearing our PJs to make a difference!💙

This National Pyjama Day, the children and educators at Regency Road Child Care Centre & Kindergarten will be swapping our everyday clothes for our favourite pyjamas to help raise funds for children living in foster care.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and feel supported. Through The Pyjama Foundation, children in foster care are matched with dedicated volunteer mentors who help build confidence, encourage learning and create brighter futures.

If you’re able to, we’d love your support. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
