📚✨NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORYTIME 2026📚✨
Today, all rooms from Nursery to Preschool joined thousands of children across Australia in celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime. It was wonderful to see the children share the joy of literacy, and storytelling through reading the book Luna Roo and engaging in fun experiences with educators.

As part of our Flying Start program, our educators have been actively engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance their knowledge, strengthen their pedagogical practices, and support high-quality learning outcomes for children in early childhood education and care. 🎨✨

This week our little explorers embraced the joy of messy play outdoors! 🌿🪣 Using recycled kitchen utensils, pots, pans and natural ingredients, the children created imaginative recipes, developed fine motor skills, and engaged in meaningful sensory learning.

Mud play encourages creativity, problem-solving, language development, teamwork, and a strong connection with nature while promoting sustainability through the use of recycled materials. ♻️✨

There were plenty of smiles, muddy hands, and wonderful conversations as the children mixed, poured, scooped, and discovered together.

🦷✨ Dental Visit at Goodstart Clearview!

Our 3 and 4 years old Preschool children enjoyed learning all about healthy teeth, proper brushing techniques, and the importance of visiting the dentist regularly. Through fun experiences and interactive discussions, our little learners discovered how to keep their smiles bright and healthy. 😁🪥

A big thank you to Cathy from Hampstead Dental Practice and Tyler from Women's and Children's Health Network for making the experience educational, fun, and engaging for the children.

This week, the Preschool children were excited to learn all about bugs, insects, and many tiny creatures that share our world 🐞🦋🐜

They enthusiastically participated in a variety of hands-on learning experiences, exploring, discovering, and sharing their knowledge with one another along the way.

One of the highlights of the week was watching their curiosity come to life as they observed our pet spiny leaf insects up close and even gently held them in their hands.

There were so many thoughtful questions, careful observations, and enthusiastic conversations about camouflage, habitats, and the important role insects play in our environment 💚
