A huge congratulations to Hunter in Year 5, who competed in the South Australian 8-Ball Junior State Titles over the weekend!

Hunter was crowned South Australian Junior State Champion AND earned a place on the SA State Team to compete at the 2027 Australian Junior Nationals! ๐ŸŒŸ

Striking all the right chords for Book Week! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ“š Every book brings its own unique rhythm, and this week turned into a true Symphony of Stories.

From sharing our favourite books in the classroom to jumping headfirst into all the reading challenges, the enthusiasm was contagious. Congratulations to Room 13 who won the Masked Reader Challenge. ๐Ÿ†

To top it off, the dress-up parade was an absolute hitโ€”the effort put into these awesome costumes made the whole week feel like magic! ๐ŸŽปโœจ

2026 TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPION SCHOOL! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

What an incredible day for St Pius X at the District Athletics Carnival! Our students put in an outstanding effort, showing determination, resilience and fantastic sportsmanship across every event.

We are so proud to have brought home the SAPSASA Track and Field District Champion School title! ๐Ÿ†

South Australia Police Band Visit ๐ŸŽบ

Today we were lucky enough to welcome the South Australia Police Band to St Pius X!

Our students learnt all about brass and woodwind instruments, different types of emergencies and some important tips on how to stay safe. ๐Ÿš“๐ŸŽท

Of course, there was plenty of music too! Students loved singing along to some familiar tunes, and we even had the chance to step up and be the conductor! ๐ŸŽผ๐Ÿ‘

Students put their talents to the test in our Author and Illustrator Competition, bringing their wonderful ideas and imaginations to life.

A huge congratulations to all of our winners! We loved seeing the creativity, effort and enthusiasm shown by everyone who entered.

Our Year 3 students enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Parliament House as part of their learning this term about Australiaโ€™s government and democracy.

The visit gave students the opportunity to see firsthand how Parliament works, learn about the roles of leaders in our state, and bring their classroom learning to life.

A fantastic day of learning, with our students representing the school beautifully! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ
