Our Year 3 students had an unforgettable visit from the Education Centre as they explored the fascinating world of habitats, adaptations and life cycles as part of their science learning.

Students had the opportunity to get up close with a variety of animals, discovering how living things survive in different environments and how they grow and change throughout their life cycles. It was wonderful to see so many students showing curiosity, courage and respect as they bravely touched, held and learnt about the animals.

A huge thank you to Jen from the Nature Education Centre for delivering such an engaging, hands-on and fun experience for our students. Your passion and knowledge made learning come alive! 🐢✨

𝘼𝙉𝙀 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙮 🏃🏼‍♀️

Last Friday, our students proudly represented St Pius X at the Adelaide North East District Cross Country Carnival. We are incredibly proud of the resilience, courage and outstanding sportsmanship shown by every student throughout the day.

Our students challenged themselves, encouraged one another and gave their absolute best effort in every race. Their determination and positive attitude were wonderful to see, with most of our runners placing 14th or higher in their events — an amazing achievement!

A beautiful morning celebrating the special women in our lives at our Mother’s Day Community Breakfast 💐

It was wonderful to see families come together to laughter and meaningful moments. We are so grateful for the love, care and support our mums, grandmothers and special carers show each and every day.

What an incredible day of fun, teamwork and school spirit at our Sports Day!

It was wonderful to see our students stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new events, collaborating with their teams, showing resilience and cheering each other on all day long. The positive energy, encouragement and smiles truly made the day so special.

Congratulations to all students for your effort, sportsmanship and enthusiasm — you made us incredibly proud. A big thank you to our staff and families for supporting such a fantastic day!

Today we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice and spirit of the men and women who have served our country.

ANZAC Day is a time to reflect on the values of bravery, mateship and service, and to remember those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Our Year 5 students turned into superstar chefs at Food on the Table! They chopped, mixed, and cooked up a storm—all while helping create meals for people doing it tough in our community. Food on the Table’s mission is simple but powerful: to make sure no one goes hungry, providing thousands of fresh, nutritious meals to people facing hardship across South Australia.

Our students not only had a blast in the kitchen, but also learnt how teamwork, kindness, and a little bit of cooking can make a BIG difference. What a recipe for success! 💛🍲
