Such a sad day. Some of you may have known peter or pets everywhere, most of our animals were purchased from peter along with advice along our way. He was supportive of my business and we loved supporting this family. My heart is heavy to lose yet another wonderful man and another person who helped fantastic fauna. My love and support are with their family right now. Xx

It is with the heaviest heart and regret, that I would like to inform our customers and suppliers, who often feel like my family and friends - that Peter, has passed away over night.
Peter was, and will still be, a fundamental part of the family business we have here at, Pets Everywhere.
We will not be opening today and our trading hours will be sporadic till further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you all for your understanding.

Astrid here. For those of you who might have met my brother Mitchell at some of our displays. I regret to inform you all that he finally lost his battle to depression. Mitchell was so passionate about reptiles and always helped me out just so he could hold the animals and learn more. Mitchells first word as a baby was gecko so his interest like mine started at such a young age. We were in the discussions about bringing fantastic fauna back to life and working as a brother sister team. It is because of his encouragement i have started on the track to bring us back.
For those of you who are struggling, reach out and tell a friend. The world is a darker place when a life is lost and you dont realize how much you will truely be missed. Lifeline has an online chat from 7pm to 12am if you struggle to talk over the phone. Its so important that you get all the help thats needed. My family is broken and i dont ever want someone else to feel this pain.

This rescue does amazing things. not only does today mark the death of their first ever rescue (which for those who had their lives touched by stella can understand how painful that is) but now they are in trouble with this little one. These wonderful people NEED a power generator! running a rescue on a property that is purely electric is so hard when there is a power outage, heating up bottles of milk and maintaining body temperature for at risk babies is so important. All these people do is give give give, if you can spare $5, $10 or anything to help them get to their goal to get this generator, you would not only be helping them out but the countless animals that come through their doors. These people took on Rex, pulled him out of danger and worked day and night for weeks to stabilize him. not only did they take him on and got him through that but weeks later an eye infection he was born with made its self known and needed to have one of his eyes removed to help save his life. just another cost to them that they werent expecting, vet bills can pile up for a rescue and while they have an amazing vet that is allowing them to pay it off, there is just another cost these people have to shoulder.

Fantastic Fauna would like to announce a big change coming to the business. I'm stepping down as owner and manager of Fantastic Fauna and leaving it in the hands of Corey Renton. You might have seen Corey at our market displays or assisting me with some talks. It has been a fun couple of years and I'm grateful for each and everyone of you supporting me! Without you all I would not have been as successful as i was. My goal was to help the next generation appreciate our wildlife and to teach both adults and children and to have fun! And im proud that i have achieved that in my time running this business. I cant thank you all enough and i leave you all in the very capable hands of Corey.
