I have had the absolute pleasure of working with this incredible human, Teena Anish and the team at Morella Community Centre. Teena moves on to a new position within Salisbury council so we still get to work together. It was an emotional goodbye as she has been such a great support in my personal development. This is great as Australia follows the US Dietary Guidelines. Hopefully, our outdated Guidelines will be updated shortly.
Don’t fear saturated fat.
Don’t fear red meat.
Don’t fear real food.
Here’s the official food pyramid of the new US Dietary Guidelines which were released today.
The pyramid has finally been flipped, in the right direction.
What we should be fearing are industrially created substances such as refined sugars and carbohydrates, seed oils, and ultra processed ‘foods’.
It’s time fora reset. Let’s hope the Australian governments follow suit…
