Following the installation of the roof, the 6mm clear acrylic louvres were installed: lightweight, easy to transport and cut with a regular timber saw.

A stunning outback sunset as the rattle of the impact driver puts in the last roofing screw in for the day. Half the shower roof on and the ensemble is taking shape.

Laying down the rolled corrugated sheets of the butterfly roof over the showers. The plywood box in the gutter was a temporary measure to hold the roof sheets in position while fixing into place.

The corrugated internal wall lining and exposed galvanised plumbing maintain an agricultural aesthetic for this rural shower. Remote and robust.

It was a quick scramble with the plumber on site to get the gas connections, boiler and shower supply plumbing done in a day.
