Running Family Day Care is my passion and heart. It is incredibly important to run under a scheme that truly encourages our unique programs but also upholds high quality standards in ours and our enrolled families safety and well being.

While recent media coverage has raised concerns among families across the Early Childhood sector, it does not reflect the outstanding care, professionalism, respect, and commitment to child safety shown by our Educators, as well as many others in our sector. Foundations Family Day Care has a zero tolerance policy against any form of disrespectful and inappropriate behaviour towards children and adults. The safety and wellbeing of every child is and always will be paramount in our service. The Child Safe Standards are of the utmost importance to us and are embedded in everything we do. These standards guide our decisions, practices, and ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of safety, trust, and transparency. Educators who join us, and their family members, undergo thorough safety checks, ensuring that only the best and most qualified professionals are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for your child. These are some of our onboarding processes:

- Thorough safety, background, and reference checks for potential Educators and all adults in their home
- Ongoing safety training, including safe sleep, transport safety, e-safety, and child protection training before commencing care
- Detailed home safety inspections and risk assessments
- Regular compliance monitoring and support, regardless of where the Educator is located
- Comprehensive induction, including our high standards in a range of child safe practices and procedures
- Continued professional development
