An amazing start to to the term for our Owls.

🏐 Netball 🏐
Last week, our girls’ netball team began their campaign for a remarkable three-peat of titles in outstanding fashion, winning all five of their games to progress through to the next stage of the tournament. Congratulations girls, and good luck in the next round! 👏

This year also marked the first time Fulham North entered a boys’ netball team in the competition. Despite many of the boys being new to the sport, they played with fantastic teamwork and enthusiasm, going undefeated across the day to also qualify for the next stage. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see them compete again. 💪

🏃‍♂️ Cross Country 🏃‍♀️
On Monday, 27 of our students travelled to Barrett Reserve to compete in this year’s district cross country trials. Our students have been training twice a week since Week 9, and the event provided a wonderful opportunity for them to challenge themselves against students from across the district.

We are extremely proud to announce that Fulham North Primary School was awarded the trophy for the best performed school on the day. 🏆 An outstanding achievement by all involved!

A special congratulations to the following students who finished in the top six and qualified for the Airport Team to compete at Oakbank on Thursday 4 June:

Another special mention goes to Evie, Mae and Amelia, who demonstrated true Mighty Owl spirit during the event. 🦉💙 After noticing another student from a different school struggling during their race, the girls ran alongside and encouraged them all the way to the finish line. We are incredibly proud of the care, empathy and sportsmanship they showed on the day.
Well done to all students for their effort, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day! 👏

There are plenty of hands-on experiences with the animals, fun nature-based activities, and even a colouring-in competition! Entries are due by Friday for the chance to win a Bunnings voucher!

To celebrate David Attenborough turning 100, we’ll be enjoying a week of nature and wildlife-themed activities! 🐭🕷️🦎🌳🪸🌺🌏
We’ve welcomed some exciting special guests to the school for the week, and students from each class will have the chance to visit them.

ANZAC DAY- our Mighty Owls always pay respect. Lest we forget. Thank you to our School Captains and Ms Georgia for representing FNPS at this important event.

Harmony Day was made even more special by our Foundation classes who organised a whole-school community display! Everyone belongs!

Our Year 4–6 students absolutely brought the energy to our annual Athletics Day! 💪🏃‍♂️

After 6 weeks of training in PE, it was awesome to see everyone decked out in their house colours and ready to compete for their team. The effort, spirit and sportsmanship on display was outstanding 🙌

💥 The highlight? So many students achieving PERSONAL BESTS — that’s what it’s all about! 💥
