Todayโs fact focuses on a shadowy and feared Soviet Aircraft, the legendary MiG-28. While very little is known about about this aircraft and its service life, it was famously involved in some incidents involving US Navy F-14s, including a shoot down incident where the F-14 proved its effectiveness against the best the East had to offer. This was documented in the 1986 documentary Top Gun.
Images come from various sources, including the Top Gun Wiki and various social media posts.
