As we wrap up the term, we just want to take a moment to say… thank you.
This term has been a big one.
There have been incredible performances, quiet breakthroughs in lessons, students finding their confidence, and so many moments where things just clicked. We’ve seen new friendships form, students step outside their comfort zones, and a real sense of community continue to grow inside the studio.
Like any term, it hasn’t all been perfect: There have been big challenges, busy schedules, and moments where practice felt hard — and that’s all part of the journey too.
What matters is that our students keep showing up, keep learning, and keep moving forward.
That’s what Pathways is all about: Belong. Create. Perform.
Looking ahead, next term is shaping up to be a really exciting one:
• Our Mid Year Concerts in July — a chance for students to share their progress and build confidence on stage
• Upcoming Exam Masterclasses to support those preparing for AMEB and other exams
• More opportunities for students to grow, perform, and connect
• And sessions like “Demystifying Practice at Home” to better support families in the learning process
It’s going to be a full and rewarding term, and we’re looking forward to every part of it.
For now, we hope everyone enjoys a well-earned break. Take some time to recharge — and if you can, keep a little bit of music happening at home too 🙂
Our admin hours are sporadic over the break so please email us at [email protected] for any queries - and we'll get back to you when we're in the office.
We can’t wait to see you all next term.

🌟 Part-Time Opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable and friendly person to assist with a small trial outreach role connected to a music education project we’re currently developing.
The role is flexible (around 5–8 hours per week) and can largely be done from home although for the first two weeks (training), and monthly thereafter, you will be required on premise.
It would suit someone organised who enjoys connecting with people.
This is not a highly technical role and you don't need to be a musician or be a computer whizz to apply! Some knowledge of music would be helpful, but again it is not required.
If this sounds like something you — or someone you know — might be interested in, we’d love to hear from you.
Send us a message at [email protected] to find out more!

As many of you know, Nate Franco has recently stepped into the role of Music Director here at Pathways - and we couldn't be more excited!
Nate has been a valued member of our teaching team for some time, and this new leadership role is a natural step as Pathways evolves. His heart and passion for students, amazing musicianship and commitment to excellence makes him the perfect person to take up the baton to shape the musical direction of our school.
In 2026, as we celebrate 10 years of Pathways, this step is part of a wider vision - strengthening what we do best and continuing to create an environment where students truly Belong. Create. Perform.
We're so proud to have Nate leading this next chapter with us.

🎉 We’re SO proud of our amazing Pathways teachers! 🎉
Two of our wonderful teachers, Ally and Amber, will be performing at WOMADelaide this Monday at 3pm with their incredible group, 'Opia Blue' on the Academy Stage – WOMADelaide!
Both Ally and Amber bring so much passion, creativity and musical experience to their students every week at Pathways — and it’s incredibly exciting to see them sharing their talent on one of South Australia’s biggest festival stages! 🌟
🥁 Ally is a true multi-instrumentalist who teaches drums, vocals, piano and guitar, and has performed across venues throughout SA.
🎤 Amber, a graduate of the Adelaide Conservatorium of Music, is a powerhouse vocalist who regularly performs across the state.
Moments like this are exactly what we love about our teaching team — our teachers are active performers who live and breathe music. 🎶
If you’re heading to WOMADelaide on Monday, be sure to drop by and cheer them on! It’s going to be an incredible show.
👏 Congratulations Ally and Amber — the whole Pathways community is cheering you on!
