It is with great sadness that we announce the decision to cancel the Adelaide Space Apps event that was set to take place on October 19-20.

At the AYAA we want to deliver events that provide a fantastic and valuable experience for all participants, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to do that at this time.

We thank all the sponsors, particularly our venue sponsor the Innovation & Collaboration Centre and SASIC, and all those who signed up to attend the event. We hope to bring you a bigger and better Space Apps in 2020.

Don't forget the NASA Space Apps Challenge Adelaide pre-event meet up is this Saturday 12 October!

Join us at the Innovation & Collaboration Centre from 3pm- 5pm to discuss all things ahead of next weekend.

Can you believe it's already October? You know that means, the 2019 Challenge is just around the corner! 😍😬

Inquisitive about the international NASA Space Apps challenge but also thinking- what on earth is a hackathon?!

Traditionally, are technology marathons that span over multiple days and draw on the talents and initiative of bright-minded participants who have a desire to have an immediate impact on the world.

By the end of the hackathon, real solutions have been created for global challenges. OH and they are a lot of fun ☺️🙌

Did you know? Some participants will begin to form teams before the weekend whilst others will create or join teams on the day. You’re more than welcome to introduce yourself, the challenges your passionate about, and begin engaging with your future teammates on the event page or this page. The most successful solutions in the past have come from teams with diverse skill sets and backgrounds, so don’t be shy!
