💙 Happy Father’s Day from everyone at Wynn Vale School! 💙

Today we celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads, uncles and special people who make such a difference in the lives of our children.

Thank you for your love, support, encouragement, guidance and belief in our children. You help them grow, learn and become the amazing young people they are. ⭐️

We also recognise that Father’s Day can be a difficult day for some. 💙 For those who are missing a dad, grandad or special person, who have experienced loss, we are thinking of you too. Today is a reminder that families come in many different forms, and what matters most is the love, care and connection we share. 🫶

Whatever today looks like for you, we hope it brings moments of love, connection and kindness. 💙🌿

Our educators create a safe, caring and fun environment where children can play, build friendships and thrive before and after school. They are an integral part of our Wynn Vale School community, and we are so grateful for the care, dedication and positivity they bring to our students and families each day. 💛

TUESDAY THRIVE- We are excited to announce a new morning initiative for this term which will happen every Tuesday morning.
Tomorrow morning, we invite the Wynn Vale School community to meet Mrs Heath under the JP Shade Sail at 8.40am-8.50am to engage in some morning movement. We are going to use the painted movement track to get our bodies moving, connect with each other and have some fun before the classroom day begins.
Reminder that EVERY person who attends gets a house point for their team.
As this is the first time, we have tried this, we ask for your understanding as students move around the track whilst families navigate walking to and from classrooms, Mrs Heath will be on the PA so please follow her instructions.
We can't wait to see everyone for TUESDAY THRIVE!

National Reconciliation Week 27th May - 3rd June ❤️💛🖤

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, “All In”, encourages all Australians to work together towards reconciliation through respect, understanding and strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Next week, our students will engage in a range of meaningful learning experiences and activities, as well as participate in our Reconciliation Week assembly.

These opportunities support our students to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives, while continuing to build a community grounded in respect, inclusion and connection. Through this learning, we continue to live our school values of being kind through showing respect and empathy for others, being curious by learning from different perspectives and histories, and being our best by working together to create a more inclusive future for all.
