🌈 Neurodiversity Week at Paringa Park Primary School 🌈
While we may be coming to the end of celebrating Neurodiversity Week here at Paringa Park Primary School, our commitment to understanding and supporting our students continues every day.
This week, we’ve highlighted some of the challenges that neurodivergent individuals may face, as well as the many ways we can show support, understanding, and kindness to one another. 💙
At Paringa Park, we are proud to foster an inclusive environment where every student is valued, respected, and supported to thrive in their own unique way.
Let’s continue to celebrate differences, build empathy, and create a community where everyone feels they belong. ✨

🌟 Neurodiversity Week at Paringa Park Primary School! 🌟
Today, we're shining a light on Misophonia – a condition where certain sounds can cause strong emotional reactions, like anxiety or frustration. For some of our students, everyday noises like chewing, tapping, or breathing can be overwhelming.
At Paringa Park, we are learning to be more understanding and empathetic towards our peers who may experience misophonia. By being mindful of the sounds we make and supporting each other, we can create a more comfortable and inclusive space for everyone. 🌈
Let’s celebrate our differences and work together to build a school community where everyone feels respected and supported. 💙

As part of Neurodiversity Week at Paringa Park Primary School, we’re shining a light on different ways people think and learn. Today, we’re focusing on dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia—celebrating strengths, raising awareness, and encouraging inclusion for all learners.
