On International Women’s Day, as usual, I’m pausing to consider women - those in my life; those who nurture, support, and guide; those who lead; those with courage, hope, and grace; those who mourn;… and especially this year - those who are holding on to hope and dreams when all around tries to take those things away.
Women embodying strength and resilience. May we know them, may we raise them, may we be them. ❤️

2025 is nearly done and dusted.

Quite possibly, for you as for me, the year brought a mix of highs, lows, and stretches of sheer mediocrity.

But being here - writing this or reading it - we’ve successfully navigated it all!

Looking back, a few things stand out:

Beauty surrounds us, though sometimes we have to choose to look for it. And that choice begins with mindset.

A clear purpose helps us stay the course - and reach the destination - especially when the going gets tough.

And no matter the circumstances, often against all odds, there is still the opportunity to bloom.
Right where we are.

May your 2026 be filled with hope, purpose - and room to bloom. ❤️

As 2024 rolls toward its end, may your celebrations be bright.

Happy Christmas one and all. ❤️

Joy isn't something we wait for—it’s something we build, day by day, moment by moment.
Start small. Find beauty in the little things. Be kind to yourself, be kind to others. Laugh often, and cherish the moments that make your heart light. Today is a perfect day to build some more joy.

Take it in!
Every little bit, every small step - is adding to your ‘muckle’.
Think about what it is that you’re building.
Are there lots of good little bits - building to a winning place? Or are you building a big picture that’s not so positive?
Every little bit adds up to a lot. Either good or bad. You choose!

Change Your Perspective. Is Your internal voice your cheerleader or your critic? Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about people telling themselves unhelpful stuff!
We can ALWAYS find things that confirm our thinking. Our bias.
Challenge yourself to look for dis-confirming evidence.
And when you find one piece, look for another. For example - Instead of reaffirming that internal critic’s ’I’m not good enough’ - identify those times where you had a win, no matter how small. Or the times you were able to fix something or help someone.
Then look for another. Make note!
We can ALWAYS reaffirm negativity- but is that how you want to spend your days? Challenge yourself to change your perspective! ❤️ Photo credit
