The 4th Annual South Australian ADHD Conference – 2025
As an educator I am aware of the various learning differences amongst my students. Consequently, I decided to attend the 4th Annual South Australian ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Saturday 27th September 2025 in order to learn more about neurodivergent learners. Led by the team at My Spirited Child founded six years ago in Melbourne, this conference is now held Australia-wide and even in New Zealand.
Six excellent expert speakers, several of whom have been diagnosed with ADHD or AUDHD (Autism Spectrum Disorder+ADHD) themselves delivered informative and compelling presentations. Topics included optimising ADHD medication, how to raise emotionally intelligent kids, ADHD and Trauma, special interests and passions of the AuDHDer, holistic wellbeing and finally, understanding ADHD as a neurotype.
I will present some key points from one of the presentations, along with the contact social media details and background information of the conference speaker. The conference also included a superb array of trade tables with many organisations promoting their resources such as teacher/student/parent-centred books, fidget toys and health/nutritional information.
