Goodstart Early Learning Linden Park

Today, our children enjoyed a special excursion to Burnside Library as part of Reconciliation Week. They listened to an Acknowledgement of Country accompanied by the didgeridoo, enjoyed a story shared by the librarian, and created echidna artworks using eucalyptus leaves.

Through music, storytelling, art, and community experiences, the children explored and celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, helping to build understanding, respect, and connection. ❤️💛🖤

Goodstart Linden Park celebrated Harmony Week by exploring culture, diversity, and belonging. The children enjoyed stories, shared their family backgrounds, and learned about different cultures and traditions. They also explored cultural clothing and created a group art piece symbolising unity and inclusion. A beautiful celebration of diversity and belonging 💛

Goodstart Linden Park is proud to share that we’ve donated pre-loved toddler and preschool chairs, nursery cots, and shelving to communities in Congo in partnership with Support DR Congo (MHCDASA).

Support DR Congo is an Australian volunteer-run charity that supports local communities in the DRC to improve access to education by providing school furniture, learning resources, and support for children and young people.
